- Raymond Miles
Raymond E. Miles is Trefethen Professor of Organizational Behavior Emeritus and Former Dean, Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Professor Miles joined the faculty at Berkeley in 1963 after receiving his Ph.D. in Organizational behavior and Industrial Relations from Stanford University. He has served as Director of the Institute of Industrial Relations at the University of California, Berkeley, and Editor of the Journal of Industrial Relations. He has also served as Associate Dean of the Berkeley Business School and as Chairman of the Organizational Behavior and Industrial Relations faculty. He has been a visiting professor at the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a visiting scientist at the Tavistock Institute in London.
For the past ten years, Raymond Miles' research and writing has focused on the interaction of organizational strategy, structure, and managerial processes. His most recent work focuses on advanced forms of organization design at the corporate and plant level, including dynamic network and cellular structures, alternative mechanisms for resource allocation and coordination in complex structures, and work systems designs which utilize surplus human capabilities. He is the author of five books and over 50 articles and chapters.

- Charles Snow
Professor Snow is a native Californian who has been at Penn State since 1974. During his career, he has taught both students and executives in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. He has been a visiting professor at The Amos Tuck School (Dartmouth College), Norwegian School of Management, and the University of Oregon. He is listed in Who's Who in the Management Sciences, Great Writers on Organizations, and The IEBM Handbook of Management Thinking.
Currently, Professor Snow is the Chair of Management and Organization, Professor of Business Administration, and Mellon Foundation Faculty Fellow at The Pennsylvania State University.

- Grant Miles
Dr. Grant Miles is an Associate Professor at the University of North Texas, specializing in areas that include strategic management, organization theory, and business ethics.
Dr. Miles research interests extend into several related areas. One major thrust has focused on strategic variety and the impact this can have on industry outcomes. A second stream has examined organizational form, particularly current trends of organizations towards strategic alliances and networks. He has also done work exploring the societal impact of different approaches to business strategy.
Dr. Miles has published articles in the Strategic Management Journal, the Journal of Business Venturing, the Academy of Management Journal, Long Range Planning, California Management Review and the Journal of Business Ethics, and has presented papers at a number of conferences including the Strategic Management Society, the Academy of Management and the International Association for Business and Society. - Jeffrey C. Wang, MD
Dr. Wang is the Executive Director of the UCLA Comprehensive Spine Center and the Chief of the UCLA Spine service. He is an associate professor of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery. He completed his undergraduate degree at Stanford University and his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his Orthopaedic residency at UCLA and a spine fellowship at Case Western Reserve.
Dr Wang was honored as a North American Traveling Fellow by the American Orthopaedic Association in 1999, and by the North American Spine Society as a traveling fellow to Japan in 2000. He has received numerous academic honors and awards for his contribution to spine research particularly in the area of basic science. He is the 2005 program chair for the North American Spine Society. He is a board member of the AO North American Spine Education Committee. Dr. Wang holds patents on innovative technology and is a consultant to several spine implant companies. He is a member of the editorial board for several peer review journals.
- Darrel S Brodke, MD
Dr. Brodke is an associate professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Utah. He received his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis and his medical school training at UCSF. He completed his orthopaedic training at the University of Wisconsin, and completed a spine fellowship at the University of Washington.
Dr. Brodke has been involved in clinical and biomechanical basic science research. He has served as a consultant for a variety of public and private companies. He has collaborated with other surgeon design teams in the development of innovative spinal implants. He is the managing director of the University Orthopaedic Center in Salt Lake City. He has several publications in peer review journals and serves on several educational and editorial boards.

- Pierce Nunley, MD
Pierce Nunley is the Founder and Medical Director of the Spine Institute of Louisiana. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas where he received both his BA and MD degrees. Following his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at LSU, Dr. Nunley attended two spine fellowships. The first was an AO scholarship to study with Profs. Dick and Jeanerette in Basel, Switzerland. The second was with one of the four founding fathers and past president of the North American Spine Society, Dr. David Selby at the Dallas Spine Group. Dr. Nunley is also the founder of the Spine Institute of Louisiana Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization devoted to excellence in spine care by actively funding and participating in Research, Education, and Community Service. He has more than fifteen years of clinical and research experience and is internationally recognized for his work and dedication to his practice of improving spinal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Nunley has published several peer reviewed articles and book chapters during his career and has been involved in several clinical trials as a principal investigator. Dr. Nunley has collaborated in the design and development of several spinal implants being used throughout the world today. He is on the Board of Directors for the American College of Spine Surgery and holds committee appointments in NASS and AAOS. Dr. Nunley began teaching computer workshops at the age of twelve and been involved in computer programming, systems design and implementation since that time.
- Paul Slosar, MD
Dr. Slosar is an orthopaedic spine surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. In addition to his responsibilities as an attending surgeon, he is Co-Director of the San Francisco Spine Institute Surgical Fellowship training program and Assistant Director of Surgical Research. His areas of interest include cervical and lumbar reconstruction, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and spinal motion-preservation technology.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, The North American Spine Society, and The International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine, as well as several local and state medical societies. He has authored many articles in peer-reviewed journals, several book chapters, and has given numerous podium presentations at national and international meetings. He is frequently invited to lecture on new technology and techniques. He is on the editorial boards and review staffs of journals including Spine, The Spine Journal, Orthopaedic Technology Review, and SpineLine.
